PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine plant connecting a synchronous machine with a gas turbine and capable of starting the synchronous machine as an electric motor quickly after power generation by the gas turbine ends. SOLUTION: This gas turbine plant is provided with the gas turbine 1 including a gas turbine shaft, the synchronous machine 2 including an armature and a rotor connected with the gas turbine shaft and rotating, a power supply device 3 for supplying electric power to the armature of the synchronous machine 2, voltage detection devices 6-1 to 6-3 for measuring induced armature voltages VU, VV, and VW induced by the armature of the synchronous machine 2, and a controller 5 for controlling the power supply device 3. The controller 5 calculates a rotor position of the rotor based on the induced armature voltages VU, VV, and VW while the gas turbine shaft and the rotor rotate by inertia after the supply of power to the synchronous machine 2 from the gas turbine 1 is stopped and controls the power supply device 3 based on the rotor position to start the synchronous machine 2 as the electric motor. |
