摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expandable particle of a high molecular weight aliphatic polyester copolymer excellent in foaming characteristic, heat insulation, or the like, and biodegradable in natural environment without generating noxious materials, and an in-mold expanded molding therewith. SOLUTION: The expandable resin particle comprises an aliphatic polyester copolymer containing as essential components 0.02-30 mol% aliphatic oxycarboxylic acid unit represented by O-R<1> -CO (wherein R<1> is a bivalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group) (1), 35-49.99 mol% aliphatic diol unit represented by O-R<2> -O (wherein R<2> is a bivalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group having an oxygen atom in its branch) (2), and 35-49.99 mol% aliphatic dicarboxylic acid unit represented by OC-(R<3> )n -CO (wherein R<3> is a bivalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group; (n) is 0 or 1) (3) and having a number average molecular weight of 10,000-200,000, and the in-mold expanded molding uses the expandable resin particle.
