PURPOSE: A starch-containing polyethylene biodegradable resin composition and its preparation method are provided, to improve the processability, the mixability and the mechanical properties and to reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION: The polyethylene biodegradable resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a starch master batch comprising 100 parts by weight of polyethylene grafted by glycidyl methacrylate, 150-300 parts by weight of starch, 7-100 parts by weight of a starch plasticizer, and 1-10 parts by weight of an auto-oxidizing agent; 50-300 parts by weight of polyethylene; and 1-10 parts by weight of a processing auxiliary. Preferably the polyethylene grafted by glycidyl methacrylate is prepared by extruding a mixture of 100 parts by weight of at least one polyethylene selected from the group consisting of high density polyethylene, low density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene, 0.05-10 parts by weight of glycidyl methacrylate and 0.01-1.0 parts by weight of at least one initiator selected from the group consisting of benzoyl peroxide, dicumyl peroxide, isobutyryl peroxide and 2,2-bis(t-butylperoxy)butane; the starch plasticizer is at least one selected from the group consisting of glycerin, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, low molecular poly(vinyl alcohol) and sorbitol; and the auto-oxidizing agent is selected from the group consisting of oleamide, manganese oleate, manganese stearate, ferrous oleate, ferrous stearate and their mixtures. |
