PURPOSE: An interlock device used in a microwave oven is provided to improve the interlock device by allowing the interlock device to have functions for detecting opening/closing state of a door and maintaining the closing state of the door. CONSTITUTION: A cooking chamber(32) is formed in a cavity(30) forming a body of a microwave oven. Foods to be cooked are placed in the cooking chamber(32). The cooking chamber(32) is opened/closed by a pull-down type door(35). An elastic latch(50) and a fixing latch(60) are installed at a rear surface of the pull-down type door(35). The elastic latch(50) and the fixing latch(60) are positioned corresponding to a latch hole(31) formed at a front of the cavity(30). The elastic latch(50) is movably installed at the rear surface of the pull-down type door(35) and the fixing latch(60) is fixedly installed at the rear surface of the pull-down type door(35).
