PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with a multiple transfer constitution in which color deviation is kept down to the minimum at a low cost. SOLUTION: When carrying out multiple transferring of images to recording material, the recording material is not suctioned to a transfer belt, etc., but carried directly. A carrying guide is provided between a transfer part and a next transfer part and exposure timing is adjusted by detecting the timing of the paper passed over the guide. Furthermore, the shock of intrusion is kept down by setting the hardness of a transfer roll to 5 to 35 deg. in Asker-C hardness. |
