PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of an image forming device by consuming only electric power which is needed for eliminating the harmful influence of dew condensation or the like by making a heating/heat retaining means for preventing dew condensation inside the device able to be energized even at the time of an energy conservation mode. SOLUTION: In this device, when a power source switch 4 is turned on and the device is made to be in a mode capable of forming an image by instructions from a control part 9, a DC power source part 6 generates the power source of +24V and it applies its voltage to the coil 5c of a relay circuit 5. As a result, contacts 5a, 5b of the relay circuit 5 are opened and the supplying of power from an AC power source part 1 to dehumidifying heaters 8 is interrupted. Thereafter, when the device is moved to the energy conservation mode by the instructions from the control part 9, the DC power source part 6 stops the generating of the power source of +24V. As a result, since the voltage of +24V becomes not to be applied to the coil 5c of the circuit 5, contacts 5a, 5b of the circuit 5 are closed and the supplying of power from the AC power source part 1 to the dehumidifying heaters 8 is started. |
