PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color tone correcting circuit which can eliminate the influence on the chromaticity of video by the discharge color of a rare gas itself sealed into a display device, such as a PDP (plasma display panel). SOLUTION: This circuit is provided with a multiplier (3) which corrects the chromaticity by multiplying an input video signal by a coefficient of multiplication and an integrator (1) which integrates the levels of the video signals of three colors R, G and B. The fluctuation in chromaticity is corrected by changing the coefficient of multiplication to be given to the multiplier (3) according to the levels of the video signals of three colors R, G and B integrated by the integrator (1).
