MAP DATA PROVIDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map data providing system capable of automatically obtaining the newest map data in the vicinity of a route high in utility but reduced in change obtaining the newest map by a user. SOLUTION: The moving terminal 100 mounted in a vehicle records the route data of a route high in use frequency among routes along which the vehicle runs on a connected memory card 110. The memory card 110 is detached from the moving terminal 100 to be mounted on a server 115. Next, a server control unit 300 reads the route data from the memory card 110, and the newest renewed map data is housed in the server control unit 300. Subsequently, the server control unit 300 records the newest renewed map data in the vicinity of the route of the read route data not yet obtained by the user on the memory card 110. By this constitution, the newest map data in the vicinity of the route high in utility but reduced in change obtaining the newest map by the user can be automatically obtained.
