PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply tube for an ink jet recorder which is provided with flexibility flexing resistance and durability and is superior in gas barrier properties and steam barrier properties. SOLUTION: The tube 5 is constituted into a two-layer structure. Its inner layer 50 is constituted of a tetrafluoroethylene resin, and therefore the evaporation of the moisture of ink to the outside and the invasion of the outside air into the ink can be prevented by the low steam permeability and the low gas permeability of the tetrafluoroethylene resin. Since an outer layer 51 is constituted of a silicon rubber, flexibility and flexing durability required for the tube 5 of an ink jet printer can be secured by the flexibility, and the flexing durability of the silicon rubber and also a bend of the inner layer 50 can be absorbed by the flexibility of the silicon rubber. |
