PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a trouble due to leak between liquid chambers by preventing a bubble from being captured in adhesive at the time of bonding a cover member to the part of liquid chamber of a recording head. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording head comprises an ink tank (not shown), nozzles for ejecting ink (not shown), liquid chambers 201f for storing a specified quantity of ink supplied from the ink tank through a filter and supplying ink to the nozzles, and a channel cover (not shown) being bonded to the liquid chambers 201f. A groove part 302 being applied with adhesive is made around the liquid chamber 201f and a protrusion (not shown) being fitted in the groove part 302 is formed around the cover member. A part 303 for discharging residual gas in the adhesive to the outside of the groove part 302, when the cover member is bonded to the liquid chamber 201f by fitting the protrusion in the groove part 302 after coating the inside thereof with adhesive, is provided at an optional position of the groove part 302.
