GAS VOLUME MEASURING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas volume measuring device capable of automatically measuring a generated gas volume without depending on the visual observation by a worker with a minimized measurement error. SOLUTION: This gas volume measuring device for measuring the gas volume contained in a molten metal comprises a chamber 1 for housing the molten metal; a pump 4 for rendering the chamber in a prescribed pressure; and measuring means 8 and 10 for measuring the internal pressure of the chamber. The gas volume is measured from a pressure rise by the gas generated from the molten metal.
