PURPOSE: A CRT inspecting socket unit is provided to minimize injury or damage of a terminal block according to imperfect stripping of the terminal block observed in a manual work in a CRT inspecting process. CONSTITUTION: A CRT inspecting socket unit comprises a base(112), a socket housing(115), a boss(116), a pickup lever(118) and a rotary axis(119). The base(112) is supported by an inspection table(200) and has opposed connector pins(111) for being coupled with a number of contact terminals of a terminal block(100). The socket housing(115) has guide grooves for guiding the connector pins for being slid along the connector pins of the base(112) and a socket for receiving the terminal block(100) about the guide grooves. The boss(116) is extruded along both side directions of the socket housing(115) for releasing the terminal block(100) in the socket(114). The pickup lever(118) is coupled with the boss(116) along the socket housing(115) through a groove(117). The pickup lever(118) is rotated on the rotary axis(119) about the base(112).
