PURPOSE: A prefabricated iron truss for a curtain wall is provided to enhance construction efficiency by completing an iron truss through assembling of each member without requiring any welding process and to improve durability without rusting the members by coating the members. CONSTITUTION: A prefabricated iron truss for a curtain wall consists of a vertical member(1), a horizontal member(3), a fixed ironwork(5) and a bolt(7). The vertical member has plural holes(2) penetrating the front and the rear surface with regular distances. The vertical members are installed vertically with regular distances to the outer structure of a building. The horizontal member has a C-type channel shape. Both leaves(4) of the channel are contacted with the vertical member, and the horizontal member is mounted horizontally at the front holes of the vertical member. The fixed ironwork is a rectangular plane shaped member having a bolt hole(6) in the center. A long side of the fixed ironwork is almost the same as the inner width of the horizontal member while a short side is formed smaller than the inner width. The long side is laid lengthwise the horizontal member, inserted into the horizontal member and rotated perpendicularly. Both ends of the long side of the fixed ironwork are hung over the leaves of the horizontal member. The bolt is connected with the bolt hole of the fixed ironwork through the holes of the vertical member. Thereby, the horizontal member is fixed to the vertical member. The prefabricated iron truss for a curtain wall is completed through assembling of each member without any welding process. Therefore, the members are prevented from rusting and the truss is assembled simply on the spot.
