PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polystyrene resin film which is useful as a packaging material used in the coating, binding, exterior finish, etc., of a container. SOLUTION: In the heat-shrinkable polystyrene resin film having at least two layers of a polystyrene resin in the main shrinkage direction, the maximum heat-shrinkage ratio is at least 40%. When the film is fitted in the shape of the label of a transparent container in the shape of a cylindrical tube, in which the main shrinkage axis direction is the cylindrical cross section direction, to a bottle and, after heat shrinkage, is irradiated with near-ultraviolet rays from the outside to the inside of the container in the direction perpendicular to the rotation symmetry axis of the container, the average T of the transmittance of the near-ultraviolet rays expressed by formula 1 of T=A/B [A is the average (n=10) of the energy density of the light passing through the film and the container with the film fitted to the container; B is the average (n=10) of the energy density of the light passing through the container without the film] is 0.5 or below. |
