PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crown type pressed cage for super thin wall type ball bearing capable of preventing the column parts from deforming in the diameter direction and avoiding troubles such as increase of torque and abrasion of cage caused by the cage contacting with inner and outer rings when the bearing rotates. SOLUTION: The minimum opening width L of a pocket 8 is made to be 93% or less of the diameter D of ball B and the dimension E of the part with the minimum opening width L (the minimum opening width part) 31a in axial direction is made to be 15% or less of the diameter of the ball D so that deformation of the column part 2 in diameter direction can be prevented as the ball B passes through the minimum opening width part 31a when assembled to the bearing.
