PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivot bearer for a folding door, capable of simply and surely performing fitting and positioning work for the folding door formed by connecting two fixed and movable door panels to each other with hinges and previously securing enough adjusting margin. SOLUTION: A metal fitting is formed by a fixing member 43 fixed to the inside surface of an opening part, a substantially L-shaped movable base 42 whose vertical rod part is mounted on the fixing member 43 to be positioned vertically, and a bearing member 41 mounted on a horizontal rod part of the movable base 42 to be positioned in the horizontal direction. A height adjusting screw 47 is screwed on the horizontal rod part of the movable base 42 to be supported from above the floor surface, and a shaft hole 41a for a lower pivot pin 14 projected from the lower surface of the fixed door panel 11a is disposed in the bearing member 41.
