<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction lining high and stable in effectiveness and performance, high in fade resistance and wear resistance, and improved in safety and sanitation during the manufacturing process, with dust generated during use affecting the human organism less. SOLUTION: In the non-asbestos friction lining manufactured by molding and hardening a non-asbestos brake lining composition mainly comprising a fabric base material other than asbestos, a binder, and a bulking agent, the base material does not contain inorganic fibers 5μm or more in length, 3μm or less in diameter, or more than 3 in aspect ratio, and the binder is a resin having a flow rate of 27 mm or less at 125 deg.C and a porosity rate 8-20%.</p> |
