PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower for a heat exchanger capable of heightening cooling effect of a fan motor 1. SOLUTION: In this blower, a plurality of reinforcing ribs 7 are installed to inner wall face of a cylindrical section 52 of a resin boss section 5 fixed on outer periphery of a fan drive shaft of the fan motor 1 and plural cutouts 8 are formed on an opening end 53 of the cylindrical section 52 of the resin boss section 5, and thereby the blower can discharge hot air swirled by the reinforcing ribs 7 on inner peripheral side of the cylindrical section 52 of the resin boss section 5 outside the cylindrical section 52 of the resin boss section 5 by centrifugal force. Thereby, water splash inside the fan motor 1 can be reduced and cooling effect of the fan motor 1 can be heightened without lowering blowing performance as the blower for the heat exchanger.
