PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fuel combustion apparatus which realizes low power consumption, a simple structure, and short preheating time. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a secondary vaporizing portion 42 having a heating means 43 and a primary vaporizing portion 41 having no heating means. Since only secondary vaporizing portion 42 is heated by means of the heating means 43 built into the secondary vaporizing portion 42 at the time of ignition, the preheating period when the secondary vaporizing portion 42 reaches a prescribed temperature at which the fuel is gasified can be shortened. Also, when combustion is initiated with the secondary vaporizing portion 42, combustion heat of flame is received with a heat receiving portion 50, and the primary vaporizing portion 41 is heated up to the prescribed temperature at which the fuel is gasified. Thereby, the heating means 43 becomes unnecessary during the combustion in the primary vaporizing portion 41. Consequently, the power consumption can be reduced and the structure of the combustion apparatus becomes simple.
