FIBER STRUCTURE FOR CLEANING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wiper of a fiber structure having performance comparable to a sponge economically on an industrial scale. SOLUTION: A sliver pile knit having pile lengths of >=15 mm is formed by using a composite fiber having hygrothermal adhesive property, and a part or all of the fiber is constituted with an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer. Two sheets of the sliver pile knits lay one on top of the other, and a high repulsive elastic body is placed between them. A wiper of a fiber structure having flexibility comparable to a sponge is manufactured by heating with microwaves in water.
