EASILY DYEABLE ARAMID, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND COMPOSITION AND MOLDING USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new aramid having good dyeability and good affinity (compatibility) for an ordinary aramid containing no sulfonate, and to provide an easily dyeable aramid composition containing the aramid. SOLUTION: This easily dyeable aramid comprises containing 0.4-100 mol% constituent unit having a sulfonic acid quaternary phosphonium salt represented by the general formula (wherein, Ar<3> is a 6-20C trivalent aromatic; and M is a quaternary phosphonium ion) in the polymer molecular construction based on the whole acidic component and has 0.05-3.0 (dL/g) reduced viscosity measured by 0.5 g/100 mL N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone solution at 35 deg.C. The easily dyeable aramid is economically produced by reacting an aromatic diamine with a specific aromatic dicarboxylic acid diaryl ester.
