PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective layer thermal transfer sheet which can transfer a protective layer excellent, in lamination properties by good adhesion to a material to be transferred having an image, etc., and good foil cutting properties and give good scratch resistance, plasticizer resistance, etc., to the material. SOLUTION: In the protective layer thermal transfer sheet, a thermally tranferable protective layer in which at least a release layer and an adhesive layer are laminated from the side of a base material sheet is provided peelably at least in a part of one surface of the base material sheet, the release layer contains a copolymer of at least two components of methyl methacrylate, methacrylamide, and methacrylic acid, and the adhesive layer contains a mixture of at least one selected from the group consisting three of methyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, and a methyl methacrylate/butyl methacrylate copolymer and a ketone resin. |
