PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate efficiently converting light of a backlight into a surface light source. SOLUTION: In the light guide plate (10) guiding light rays made incident on a substrate to a light emitting surface (C) by internal reflection between a first surface and a second surface (11a, 11b) placed opposite to each other, the substrate (11) contains light guide regions (A, B), on which reflection patterns to align directions of the incident light rays (L) with a light guide direction (x) of the substrate are formed, and a light emitting region (C) on which a reflection pattern to emit the aligned light rays from the light emitting surface is formed. Because the incident light rays (L) diffusing in a semisphere are aligned, propagated in the light guide direction and are emitted from the light emitting surface with this construction, a bright surface light source (backlight) is obtained. |
