PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of which both external light reflectance and transmittance (transmissivity) of a reflection film of a backlight are large and which utilizes a semitransmissive reflection plate. SOLUTION: The display device utilizes the semitransmissive reflection plate (22) including a transparent substrate (221), a reflection film (220) film-formed on the substrate with a number of micropores (224) opening per pixel (219) and a refractive index distribution type micro lens array (223) formed by diffusing a refraction material from the micropores on the reflection film into the substrate. Consequently an amount of external light reflection is relatively increased by reducing an area ratio of the micropores (224) on the reflection plane (220) and, at the same time, a necessary amount of transmission of light (3) of the backlight is secured even with the small area ratio of the micropores (224). |
