PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an efficient detection without enlarging a device by allowing to surely detect that two or more suction nozzles are successively moved and a translucent nozzle tip is installed to each tip thereof in a prescribed position without moving the suction nozzles to another detecting position by a pair of transmission sensors with respect to two or more nozzle tips. SOLUTION: This nozzle tip detector comprises a pair of transmission sensors 6 consisting of a light emitting element 61 arranged in one side of the direction crossing the axial direction of two or more nozzle tips 4 installed to the suction nozzles 2 and 3 and located in a detecting position and a light receiving element 62 arranged on the other side to receive the detection light transmitted by the nozzle tips 4; and a detection unit 7 for adjusting the emitting light quantity of the light emitting element 61 in proportion to the receiving light quantity of the light receiving element 62 of the transmission sensors 6 and performing the detection of the nozzle tips 4. |
