PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip capable of preventing the lowering of a sealing performance and failure by sticking-out of sealer and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This weather strip 4 is provided with a U-cross-sectional trim part 5 attached to the whole circumference including, at least, a corner part in the circumferential edge of a door opening for an automobile and molded by an extrusion molding and a hollow seal part 6. The sealer 41 is injected in the bottom wall part of the trim part 5. In the sealer injection process, the injection amount of the sealer 41 is changed according to the thickness of the flange 23 so that the injection amount of the sealer 41 is made relatively small in a range where the thickness of the flange 23 is relatively thick and the injection amount of the sealer 41 is made relatively large in a range where the thickness of the flange 23 is relatively thin. |
