PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining tool housing device for easily carrying out exchange of the retaining tool in a part retaining device provided with an engagement member for preventing removal of the part retaining tool from a retaining tool holder. SOLUTION: A suction nozzle 54 is taper-fitted to a taper hole 122 of an adapter 80 by a spring member 126 and an engagement lever 140 is engaged with an engagement groove 136. The sucking nozzle 54 is undetachably retained to a retaining shaft 53. At the time of exchange of the suction nozzle 54, after the sucking nozzle 54 is housed in a nozzle housing hole 250 of an sucking nozzle housing device 190, a removal inhibition member 280 is moved from a non-acting position to an acting position. At this time, an operation member 330 is engaged with a surface 162 to be engaged of an engagement lever 140 and turns the engagement lever 140 from an engagement position to a non-engagement position in resistant to urging force of a spring member 144. When the retaining shaft 53 rises, a back surface forming part 114 of the sucking nozzle 54 is engaged with a removal inhibition part 288 and the sucking nozzle 54 is downwardly pulled against the adaptor 80. The spring member 126 is elastically deformed and the adaptor 80 is removed from the sucking nozzle 54. |
