PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid changes in the position of an artifact appearing in an image produced by a magnetic resonance imaging device. SOLUTION: A correcting means for correcting the irradiation phase of high-frequency magnetic field pulses or a means for correcting the shift of the phase of a magnetic resonance signal is provided. When sequences for continuously picking up a plurality of images of a subject are executed, the correcting means determines resonant frequencies corresponding to the strength of a static magnetic field during the execution of the sequence 31 or 33 for picking up one image or between the sequences 31 and 33 for picking up several images, and, based on the resonant frequencies, it determines changes in nuclear spin phase caused by changes in the strength of the static magnetic field. Based on the changes, the correcting means corrects the shift of the irradiation phase of the high-frequency magnetic field pulses or the shift of the phase of the magnetic resonance signal.
