PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing smoked cheese, by which a smoke cheese taste is given to fragrant natural cheese as well as processed cheese at normal temperatures in a short time so as to obtain a smoked cheese with its original flavor alive. SOLUTION: The method for producing smoked cheese comprising the following process: drawing smoke from a smoke generator into a smoke chamber provided with a spray humidifier generating minus ions to fill the chamber with minus ion-mist-smoke so that the plus ion-charged cheese in the chamber is smoked by utilizing Coulomb's force at normal temperatures.
