PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water bucket for fishing, whose vessel body easily lies down by laying down of a handle when reaching on the water in a hung down state. SOLUTION: This bucket comprises fixing handle attachments 2 and 2 at opposite positions on a circumferential face 1b of an opening 1a at upper side of a vessel body 1, fitting both rotating parts of a handle 3 into holes of the handle attachment 2 and 2 and setting the handle 3 to archingly span over. The handle 3 is made of a synthetic resin such as ethylene-vinyl acetate polymer and has a U-shape and sufficient hardness for keeping the U-shape when standing the handle upward. The U-shape is formed with a grip 3a and rods 3b and 3b. And, at the tips of the rods 3b and 3b, rotating parts 3c and 3c and stoppers 3d and 3d are formed. A weight 5 comprising a metal is embodied and formed in the grip 3a and a oblong through hole 3e is formed through the weight 5 at the center of the grip 3a.
