PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide game information which can improve the capacity of gathering visitors by generating publicity effects for appealing. SOLUTION: In the method of providing the game information, the game information is provided to portable terminals by a bidirectional short-range wireless connection which contains terminals at game parlors installed at the game parlors engaged in businesses of offering games using the game machines and the portable terminals. The terminals at the game parlors contain a connection establishing step for getting the terminals at the game parlors connected to the portable terminals that enter the range of the reach of the bidirectional short-range wireless connection from the game parlors and a game information providing step for making the terminals at the game parlors display information pertaining to the game parlors and information pertaining to game machines onto the portable terminals the connection established to the terminals at the game parlors to provide the game information.
