<p>Screened cable is formed by a simple or stranded core provided with a first insulating layer formed by a helically wound, overlapping tape including a base layer of polyimide, an intermediate layer of fluorocarbon polymer and a top layer of aluminium. The insulating layer is overlaid with axially extending or helically wound copper earthing or screening wire which in turn is covered with a second insulating layer would helically in the opposite sense in an overlapping manner and formed by an aluminium base layer, a fluorocarbon polymer layer, a polyimide layer and finally a top layer of fluorocarbon polymer.</p> |
