<p>Beta-Aminoaryl ketones of formula (I): (where R and R1 are H, halogen, alkyl, OH or alkoxy) are prepd. in good yield, by reacting Beta-dialkylaminopropiophenones (I): (where R2 is alkyl) with norephedrine in aqs. and/or aqs. alcoholic mixtures at room or raised temp. Pref. acid salts, such as HCl salts, are used for reaction, if necessary, in presence of alkali bicarbonates, such as NaHCO3, in aqs. and/or aqs. alcoholic media.</p> |
