PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding repair structure and welding repair method of pipe which reduces the stress on a pipe outer peripheral part after welding repair, enhances the strength of a welding repair part by means of a simple means, thereby, prevents the breakage of the welding repair part and the occurrence of fluid leakage from the breakage part and continuously and reliably performs the mounting of welding repair part when the damage on the welding part, etc., of pipe is repaired by welding. SOLUTION: In this welding repair structure of pipe which is made so as to repair the damage of the pipe allowing the fluid to pass therein, a reinforcing plate of a specified thickness which covers a damage generating part of the pipe and the vicinity and allows the periphery thereof to be stuck to the outer surface of the pipe is disposed and, therein, the ratio t/T of the thickness t of the reinforcing plate and the thickness T of the pipe is less than 0.5. |
