PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent peeling of an adhesive tape which is used to roll up and throw away a disposable diaper. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 has a garment facing surface and a body facing surface for a wearer of the diaper. The adhesive tape 21 for holding the diaper 1 in a rolled-up state is attached on the outer surface of a backsheet 3 forming the garment facing surface. The tape 21 has a fastening tape 22 and a reinforcing tape 23. The tape 22 consists of an inner tape section 31 being folded back itself double and an outer tape section 32. In the section 31, the vicinity of an end 25 is fixed to the backsheet 3 and the vicinity of a fold section 33 being contiguous to the section 32 is space from the backsheet 3. An adhesive 38 is coated on the section 32 to temporarily fix the section 32 on the section 31. The tape 23 is folded back itself double in a direction opposite to the direction of the tape 22, and is fixed on the vicinity of the section 33 of the tape 31 and on the backsheet 3.
