METHOD FOR CLEANING WASTE WATER CONTAINING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE AND AMMONIA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning waste water containing hydrogen peroxide and ammonia with good heat efficiency and highly decomposing hydrogen peroxide. SOLUTION: The waste water containing hydrogen peroxide and ammonia is cleaned by passing through a hydrogen peroxide decomposition tower and an ammonia stripping tower. Hydrogen peroxide is decomposed by feeding a carrier gas from the bottom of the hydrogen peroxide decomposition tower and the waste water is subjected to heat exchange with treated water from the ammonia stripping tower before feeding into the hydrogen peroxide decomposition tower.
