PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of scissors for barber/beautician, wherein the motion of blades is made smoother without using a plate spring member, and which is excellent in cutting property. SOLUTION: A first half body 10 and a second half body 20 are clamped with screws 31 and 33 at a connecting section between them, and the clamped spot is made the pivot section 30 for this pair of scissors for barber/beautician. In this case, the first half body 10 and the second half body 20 respectively have blade sections 11 and 21, handle sections 12 and 22, and connecting sections 13 and 23 between them. Then, at least for either one of the first half body 10 and the second half body 20, a slit 14 in the thickness is formed at the connecting sections 13 and 23 including the pivot section 30. Thus, elasticity which allows a warpage in the thickness direction is imparted to the connecting section. The slit 14 is formed in such a manner that the central section may expand to the outside of the scissors.
