PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear of an electrically driven fishing reel, improving the generation of the noise, and stably operated, durable, and small- sized and light-weight. SOLUTION: This reduction gear of the electrically driven fishing reel is composed of a spool 4 which is positioned between both side plates 2a, 2b of a real main body 1 and supported by them to be freely rotatable, a handle 5 which is attached to the reel main body 1 so as to be manually driven and rotate the spool 4, a spool-driving motor 31 which is attached to the reel main body 1 or the spool 4 so as to rotate the spool 4, and at least one stage of a planetary gear reduction mechanism transmits driving force of the handle 5 and/or the spool-driving motor 31 to the spool 4, wherein the planetary gear reduction mechanism has four or more planetary gears 24 between a sun gear 26 and an internal gear 20. The planetary gear 24 is preferably formed out of a synthetic resin.
