PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize transplanting operation for a ground contact wheel-driven transplanter. SOLUTION: This transplanter 10 driven with the ground contact wheels 12A and 12B is equipped with a transmission ratio controlling part 41 and a manual rotating shaft 43 in a main gear box 33 in a power transmission mechanism 30 of the transplanter 10. An input gear box 32 is provided with a main clutch 32a and a right upper gear box 38 is equipped with an auxiliary clutch 38a. The slip of the ground contact wheels 12A and 12B is corrected with the transmission ratio controlling part 41 and a planting device 14 and seedling transporting devices 15 can manually be driven by rotation of the manual rotating shaft 43. The phase of the respective seedling transporting devices 15 is shifted by a power cut-off of the auxiliary clutch 38a. The load of the ground contact wheels 12A and 12B is dispersed to ensure smooth rotation and stabilize the seedling transplantation.
