PURPOSE: A method for automatically paging a mobile terminal by a switching system is provided to automatically transfer a call terminated to a wired phone to a mobile phone, and reduce a switching load by minimizing a traffic of a switching system. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(Central Processing Unit) detects a hook-off of a subscriber(401). The CPU performs a call set-up on a paged subscriber by analyzing received digits(402). The CPU checks whether the paged subscriber has been registered for an automatic radio paging mode(403). If the paged subscriber has been registered for the automatic radio paging mode, the CPU searches a content of an automatic paging table and access an automatic radio paging information(405). The CPU analyzes a service class of the paged subscriber(406). If the service class of the paged subscriber is '2', the CPU dials to page a phone number of a mobile phone stored in an information storage field of the subscriber(408). The CPU connects a speech path to the paged subscriber for a call connection(410).
