PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping sheet easily and efficiently removing allergen from a tatami surface contaminated by the allergen and effectively reducing an allergen amount of the tatami surface. SOLUTION: In the wiping sheet for the tatami mat, an allergen reducing component is impregnated in a base material. It is favorable that the allergen reducing component is at least one substance selected from a group comprising a compound having a function group represented by formulae (1-6) in a side chain of a linear polymer, a compound comprised by polymerizing or copolymerizing a monomer containing the functional group represented by formulae (1-6) or a monomer having a univalent phenol group, an aromatic hydroxy compound such as an aromatic heterocyclic hydroxy compound; an alkali metal carbonate, alum, a laurylbenzenesulfonate, lauryl sulfate and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether sulfate; and a phosphate, zinc sulfate and/or lead acetate.
