PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT system by which the X-ray dosage of a subject can be reduced, and the working efficiency and the picture quality can be improved by determining proper imaging conditions, and performing the scanning conforming to the imaging conditions. SOLUTION: An X-ray absorptivity map regarding the subject is prepared based on scanning image data which is obtained from a specified direction to the subject P. Then, imaging conditions are determined based on the absorptivity map. Prior to a tomographic imaging, an index indicating the dosage when scanning is performed conforming to the imaging conditions is calculated, and is displayed together with the imaging conditions. Also, when the imaging conditions are updated, the index indicating the dosage is calculated and displayed every time when the updating is performed. The tomographic imaging is performed conforming to the imaging conditions which are finally determined. Thus, the dosage of the subject is reduced, and the tomographic image of a favorable picture quality can be obtained.
|
