PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking utensil with superior productivity suitably used in an electromagnetic cooker. SOLUTION: The cooking utensil 1 is provided with a cooking utensil body 2 cast from aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and a metal plate 4 comprising a magnetic body inserted in a bottom 3 of the cooking utensil body 2 in casting. The metal plate 4 has a plurality of engaging hole parts 5 and 5 engaging with the bottom 3 of the cooking utensil body 2, and its one face 4a side is exposed to an outer face 3a side of the bottom 3 of the cooking utensil body 2. A one face 4a of the metal plate 4 and outer faces 3a of the bottom 3 of the cooking utensil body 2 formed so they are exposed through each engaging hole parts 5 and 5 of the metal plate 4 are flush and continuous with each other. |
