PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refashioning apparatus of automatic welding gun elec trode which minimizes the removal of material. SOLUTION: This refashioning apparatus of welding gun electrode is provided with a head having a satellite supported by a satellite holder for fixing a gun electrode tip between sheets opposing to each other for the gun electrode tip. A driving power is imparted to the satellite holder in such a manner that the satellite holder is rotated around the sheets in order to move the satellite around the electrode tip region and refair the electrode tip. A supporting member for electrode tip having a surface designed for simultaneously flattening a lens region of the electrode tip is formed on the sheet. A motion mechanism can position the head in the operation region.
