PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for planting seedlings of ground covering plants, enabling to perform greening with ground covering plants replacing turf at a lower cost a similar construction cost to that for turf sodding than that for the conventional planting potted seedlings method. SOLUTION: The construction method for the planting seedlings of the ground covering plants saves a greening cost by using inexpensive cell-molded seedlings (molded seedlings) having nearly the middle-finger size, instead of using potted seedlings, and taking inexpensive and easy broadcast seedling and surface compaction instead of the conventional planting method for greening, wherein the surface compaction means a plating, which comprises vertically scattering root balls and burying them into soil by the loads of a roller.
