PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental luminaire for the oral cavity capable of easily checking the state in the oral cavity such as a carious tooth, stomatitis or the like in home. SOLUTION: A light source device 2 having LED as a light source is arranged to the back of the base plate part 11 provided on the lateral side of the mirror M of a mirror cabinet L and a fiber-shaped light guide body 3 is allowed to pierce through the base plate part 11 to be connected to the light source device 2. The ON/OFF switch 4 of the dental luminaire 1 is provided to a housing shelf 10 or the proper place of the base plate part 11. The fiber-shaped light guide body 3 has proper length and flexibility and the diameter thereof is set to about 2-3 mm. The fiber-shaped light guide body 3 is inserted in the oral cavity and the light from the LED is projected from the leading end of the fiber-shaped light guide body 3 to irradiated a desired place to easily and certainly check the state (e.g. the presence of a carious tooth, the state of stomatitis, the state of throat mucous membrane or the tonsils) in the oral cavity. |
