PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently attach a fastening tape used to wear or throw away a disposable diaper to the diaper. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing step of the disposable diaper 1, a plurality of backsheets forming a garment facing surface of the diaper 1 are connected by side edges thereof to form a first web 63. The web 63 is continuously fed from the longitudinal direction thereof. Each of the backsheets adjacent each other by the web 63 is fed with a tape piece 67 extending to the longitudinal direction of the web 63 so as to cross over a line A to be side edges of the sheets. The tape piece 67 is folded into a Z-shape or a reverse Z-shape, a first adhesive is applied to the lower part of the tape piece 67 which is positioned on the top of the Z-shape or reverse Z-shape, a second adhesive is applied to the lower part of the tape piece 67 which is positioned on the bottom of the Z-shape or reverse Z-shape, and the tape piece 67 is bonded to the web 63 with the second adhesive. The web 63 and the tape piece 67 are cut along the line A. |
