PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treating device of a plate-like workpiece requiring no rearrangement of the plate-like workpiece and preventing blowing off and dropping off. SOLUTION: The plate-like workpieces 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 are placed on a conveyor 10 above which a plurality of turnable rollers 11-1, 11-2, 11-3, etc., are arranged and fed while always pressing them onto the conveyor by one or more roller. A slurry containing abrasive grains is sprayed to the fed plate-like workpieces from nozzles 13-1, 13-2 to carry out a surface treatment. Since the workpiece is always retained by one or more roller 11, it can be prevented that the plate- like workpieces 1 are flown out into a wet blast, dropped off and superposed and change a direction.
