摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teaching device for an industrial robot capable of facilitating to memorize an arrangement of each key and further enhancing an operability by downsizing the device while reducing the letter keys and the mark keys; and an inputting method therefor. SOLUTION: The teaching device has an input key allotting the letters to respective input keys 31 to 40 in which numerals of 1 to 9 and 0 are printed on upper surfaces of the key one-by-one and printed together with the numeral; an input mode selection key 41 for selecting a numeral input mode and a letter input mode; and a mark input key 44 for inputting the mark previously determined every time pushing down. The teaching device is further provided with an input part 20 having a settlement key 45 for settling the inputting; a processing part 50 for processing whether or not any keys are inputted and settled by judging the pushing down of the respective keys; a memory part 51 for memorizing the processing result; and an indication part 52 for indicating the processing result.
