PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a stable tape traveling by inhibiting a meandering of the tape generated by a guide roll and to enhance a production yield by eliminating a cutting failure of a magnetic tape. SOLUTION: The tape cutting device is provided with a cutter part 35 for cutting the magnetic tape 61 to a predetermined width; first and second introduction side guide rolls 33, 34 arranged at an introduction side of the tape of the cutter part 35; and first and second feeding out side guide rolls 36, 37 arranged at the feeding out side of the tape of the cutter part 35. The first introduction side guide roll 33 is arranged at a position where an embracing angle winding the tape becomes 190 deg. to 198 deg. and the second introduction side guide roll 34 is arranged at a position where an embracing angle winding the tape becomes 130 deg. to 135 deg..
